With an extra day to spend with family and friends every four years, there is no better place to celebrate it than at Rotary Botanical Gardens. Enjoy special activities for the young and young at heart! From bunnies to frogs to kangaroos, bring school-age kids to RBG for a “hopping” good time featuring music, movement and Make & Take goodies.
The Welty Center will also be at the Gardens offering some froggin fun activities!
Activities include:
- A “frog chorus” where children take the part of frogs in their spring songs
- Paper and directions to make origami jumping frogs (and some washable markers to decorate them)
- Find pictures of local frogs and toads while exploring the outdoors
- There will be frog and toads of WI books available for kids to look at (very readable and easy to identify with them)
- An interactive metamorphosis board
