Schedule a guided tour of Rotary Botanical Gardens…
With 18 distinct areas across 20-acres, you will want to allow yourself approximately 2 hours for your visit. Dress for the weather—Rotary Botanical Gardens will be unable to refund for cancellations due to weather. Certain garden areas may be in use for education and events during your visit. Handicapped accessible trails are marked.
Guided Tours
A volunteer docent will lead your group through our gardens, detailing the gardens’ history, plant material, and notable points of interest.
Guided tours are available from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. No guided tours on weekends. Allow 2 hours for your tour. Please inquire for special tour times and lengths.
Requesting a staff horticulturist as a guide depends on their availability and is subject to additional cost.
General Tour Reservations
Group reservations only need to be made if the group is larger than 15 people. Groups of 14 people and fewer do not need advanced reservations.
You can schedule your tour directly with the Gardens. Or, you may schedule via the Janesville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and learn about additional tour packages you can include while in Janesville.

General tour requests, information or reservations can be made by emailing or calling Polly Schluter-Punzel, Facilities & Events Manager, at (608)752-3885, ext. 16. Cancellations must be received a minimum of one week in advance in order to receive refund. A $70 deposit required with registration with the remainder due upon arrival.
Youth Tour Reservations
Schools, daycares and youth organization tour requests, information or reservations can be made by emailing or calling Kris Koch, Education Coordinator at (608)752-3885, ext. 17
All youth groups must schedule a tour prior to visiting the Gardens and two weeks prior notice is recommended. Rotary Botanical Gardens has staff and volunteers who specialize in children’s horticultural education and can assist in planning your visit to the Gardens. It is recommended to have one adult chaperone per five youth.

Adult $7.00
Seniors $6.00
Youth 6-18 yrs $4.00
Youth 0-5 yrs $2.00
*One adult chaperone per five youth will receive complimentary admission.
Self-guided tours of Rotary Botanical Gardens are always available and offer an incredible value in a setting unmatched for beauty, relaxation, and inspiration. Self-guided group tours are perfect for those groups who prefer to explore the Gardens at their leisure without a guide.
All visitors are to be respectful to other visitors in the garden, stay on the paths and out of the flower beds, and behave in a responsible, respectful manner.
Rotary Botanical Gardens policies and rules must be followed.
The Gardens is NOT a playground.
