Commemorative Plaque Inscription

A plaque that includes a personalized inscription as well as the common and botanical name of the tree accompanies each tree. Plaques will be installed on or near the Adopted Tree in accordance with best practices.

Replacements

Rotary Botanical Gardens makes every effort to ensure that all dedicated trees thrive. The longevity of a particular tree is difficult to predict as it varies based on species and environmental conditions that are beyond Rotary Botanical Gardens’ control.

If a tree fails or is removed for any reason within 3 years of planting or dedication, RBG will make reasonable efforts to inform the donor and either replace the tree, transplant the tree to another location, or transfer the care to a mutually agreed upon tree at no additional cost to the donor.

If a tree fails or needs to be removed after a period of 3 years for any reason, it will be the donor’s responsibility to fund a replacement if so desired.

Replacement trees shall be governed in accordance with the current RBG prices, conditions, and policies.
