Step into Nature and start your day with a refreshing, self-paced walk through the stunning landscapes of Rotary Botanical Gardens.

Whether you prefer a brisk morning stroll or a meditative walk among nature, this event provides the perfect opportunity to enhance your physical and mental well-being while enjoying the beauty of the gardens.

Event Details

  • Time and Dates: 9-10 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between April 2 and Oct. 31 (except for major holidays when the Gardens are closed).
  • Cost: Free for members; Non-members must pay the daily admission rate
  • Registration Deadline: No advance registration required; simply check in at the entrance before beginning your walk.

  • RBG Members: Free
  • Adult (age 16+): $9
  • Senior (age 65+): $7
  • Youth (age 6-15): $5
  • Military (with ID): $6
  • Child (under age 6): Free

What is the Morning Walking Group?

The Morning Walking Group is a guided or self-paced wellness initiative at Rotary Botanical Gardens, designed to promote holistic health through movement, mindfulness, and social engagement.

When and where does the walk take place?

Walks occur Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 AM at Rotary Botanical Gardens. You can walk alone, with a friend, or with a group.

Do I need to be a member of the Gardens to participate?

No, this event is open to everyone! However, members save money by receiving entrance into the gardens all year long.

What should I bring?

Comfortable walking shoes, a reusable water bottle (we have drinking fountains available), weather-appropriate clothing, and sunscreen or a hat if needed.

What if the weather is bad?

In case of severe weather, we will notify registered participants via email and social media about cancellations or rescheduling.

Is there a cost to participate?

The walks are free, but you will have to pay for entrance into the gardens. If you would like to sign up for a membership to save money in a variety of ways, we are happy to discuss this with you.
