Spring Symposium Success

Above is Kris K. (RBG Education Coordinator) with Peter Hatch, one of our speakers at the annual Rotary Botanical Gardens Spring Symposium today.  Peter was Director of Gardens and Grounds at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate.  He gave a nice presentation followed by signings of his book.  It was a healthy crowd of 130 and the day went well.  I gave a presentation first, followed by Peter and then a closing presentation from Kyle Cherek, host of the Wisconsin Foodie show.  It was a nice day with weather that allowed folks to head out in the gardens.  Great teamwork of staff and volunteers with Kris K. as the lead allowed us to get ready and execute a super duper day.
