Thursday Color in the Gardens

It was another beautiful day out in the gardens.  Our grounds staff of Janice, Larry H., Bobby K. and I all had plenty of action and it was another great day for volunteer efforts out in the gardens.  Our volunteers included Eva, Bonnie, Marleen, Marilyn, Jenny, Dave, Mike P., Tom, Bob K., Alan, Ron R., Ron Y., Dave, Steve J., Rollie, Dr. Gredler, Bill, Maury, Lisa, the Green Team (formerly the Chestnut House Volunteers) and many others!  Nice shot above of the annual ‘Fireworks’ fountain grass (Pennisetum x advena).  I had a presentation at Olbrich Botanical Gardens (Madison, WI) tonight and had some time for a quick tour and some photos.
