An intimate Acrylic Pouring experience with Janesville artist Nancy McKinnon

Note: This is a two-event series. You must be available for both series dates. No discounts will be offered for single session participation. 

Nancy does workshops for various groups, chaired the Wisconsin Regional Artist Association, and is member of the Janesville Art League, among others, and her work is frequently on display and exhibited in the Janesville, Beloit, and Madison area.

“How can one get so excited about pouring paints in and out of a cup, literally throwing it on a surface, and not knowing what is going to happen? No prior experience and having fun is what this process is all about. The results are very satisfying for anyone who has never painted before! Seats are limited to ensure Nancy and her assistant can guide participants during their design.

Nancy will begin with a demonstration, so participants can see the process of acrylic pouring before they begin. Participants should expect to get messy, gloves will be provided, but if desired, wear old clothing or bring an apron.

Day 1 will include the background pouring. Day 2 will include steps and instructions on how add the turtle, plus something to sip.

• Location: Rotary Botanical Gardens
• Dates and Times: Monday, Feb. 12 from 1-3:30pm and Thursday, Feb. 15 from 1-4pm
• Registration Cost:
  • $65 for RBG members; $75 for non-members
  • Includes: Both sessions (2/12 & 2/15), 12” wooden circle, acrylic paint, a glass of wine (only on 2/15), and admission to the gardens.

Cancellations & Refunds

Classes cancelled due to low enrollment will be refunded automatically, and you will be notified by phone or email of the cancellation. No refunds after Feb. 9.
