On Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rotary Botanical Gardens will host an Earth Day Celebration, an event with three live exotic animal shows and lots of other family friendly activities and education.
There will be additional outdoor activities, weather permitting, throughout the day including exciting games, garden adventures, hands-on projects and community information courtesy of RBG and the following organizations:
GreenLight E Recycling will have a collection bin for all your old, outdated, unused or broken electronics. They will be accepting anything from laptops & towers, cellphones & gaming systems, motors, cords & cables … if it runs off a battery, motor or plug, you will be able to drop it off helping ensure our little corner of the Earth stays greener a bit longer.
Rock County Public Health Department will be onsite for RX take back program. Anyone with an unwanted medical prescription can drop off those medications to be properly disposed of.
Admission to Rotary Botanical Gardens is free to all during these activities.
In addition to all of the other activities, we also will host three live exotic animal shows with Zoozort.
Zoozort shows are $5/person ages 2+. All ages are welcome and show seating will be on a first-come first-served basis. Advanced registration is required for Zoozort shows.
